Ok.... so I have a D1 and the calibration was off a little on the right side. So I followed the directions I found in the following post....

But now the calibration is even worse.... any ideas on how to fix it?

You can see in the image that the stylus is much further to the right than the head unit thinks it is.....

Ok…. I have read every calibration post on this forum and still can’t find a solution. I got so tired of messing with the unit that I pulled it out of the truck and have hooked it up to a 12v power source on my work bench and am going to give it another shot.

Even after sitting for several days without power the unit settings never reset. Is there a way to get the screen back to “default” ? As you can see from the above image my calibration is WAY off. The typical trick of just calibrating off center just a little is not going to work.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply.... My touch screen worked fine until I tried to make the calibration a little more accurate. At first it was only off on the right side maybe 1/4 of an inch. But after following the instructions found on anther post in this forum, it got far worse. I don't think I need to replace the screen, I just need to "reset" it somehow.

Last night I installed the old navigation discs to see if that would somehow clear the touch screen memory. The install went fine but the touch screen is till off.

I have thought about uninstalling the screen and reinstalling it.... thinking that might some how force the screen to re-initialize....
