Hey guys,

I've had my Z2 for about 6 months now and it has been working perfect.

However, about a week ago the library start acting up. Once I get to the library (where I've saved a lot of CD's obviously) the unit does not seem the find any music at all. All it does it seems to do is to "search" thru the first 5 CD's and then does it all over again once its done (this of course without playing anything). I don't see any tracks I can just see the unit switching from one saved CD to another. I tried to put in a new CD and save it put that didn't help. I don't care if I loose all the music, I just want the thing to work again. Any suggestions?

I appreciate your help.

You may have a corrupted library database, or a hard drive failing. I would try a level 4 reset and that should fix it, IF it's a software issue.

Forgive my stupidity, but what is a level 4 reset and how do I do it?

The instructions and description are in the owners manual. If you don't have the owners manual, then you can download it from Pioneer. There is a link to the manual in my classified ad. Just click the link in my sig below and you will see the link to the manual.

Thank you. I'll give it a try tomorrow.
