The auto timezone setting does not work correctly for me. I am the EST zone and the unit insists that it is CST. I can manualy set the timezone and time but the time calculations are still off by one hour.

 

I have tried another unit with the same results.

 

Any suggestions?

Update.

 

For some reason the auto time zone does not work correctly in East TN. I have traveled N to S into NC and the unit will show correct timezone after crossing the state line. When going S to N back into TN it changes to the wrong timezone again. It just does not like EST in East TN.
