Hey ya'll,

i did a search on the forum and couldn't find anyone with a similar problem. I have a lifetime subscription to Sirius radio and probably for the past 4 or 5 months whenever i tried to use it it MAY work for 2 mins then it cuts out and always says acquiring signal. I re-hooked it up triple checked all the wires. The antenna is on top the car and everything. I moved down to del-rio texas where they have 2 stations...so wanting my sirius pretty bad lol! any help would be awsome! thanks all

its probably the Sirius box. My SCC1 went bad and Sirius replaced it under warranty.

Have you tried a new antenna at all??? Those antennas can go bad.

+1 the most common problems with sirius systems is the antenna will go bad and need to be replaced, i have also seen on a few occations where the sirius box goes out and needs to be replaced.

"acquiring signal" or "Antenna Err" = usually means there is a problem with the antenna,

the sirius option not showing up as a source = usually means there is a problem with the box
