Everytime I use my unit as a hand free device any one I am talking to sound so loud, I tried adjusting the volume and the settings and its still loud. I actually had to remove the unit and put my factory radio back in and go the dealership for warranty fix because my speakers blew and I have premium speakers with a factor amp under my seat....what would you guys suggest

I have the same issue and cannot get it to turn down either. In fact it's as low as it will go on the -/+ control for the phone and using the volume dial does nothing. Please help us figure out how to correct.

what kind of car is it, it is pretty common when replacing factory radio in premium sound systems (factory installed amps) if the amp in not bypassed (simple four speaker systems not counting tweeters with factory components) or proper amp intergration (six or more seperate speakers also not counting tweeters)

a common issue with both situations is that your sound is ampiflied inside the AVIC and then again by the factory amp causing the sound to be very very loud with the volume 25%-30% up, to fix this you either need to bypass the amp in simple systems so that you are only ampfling the sound once, or using the low level outputs to send the signal to the factory amp in more high end systems

Hi, this is what I did on my 09 Maxima. I had the same problem, did a little research here in Avic411. All what you have to do is to connect the speeakers from your vehicle, to the RCA's, that will fix the problem, plus you will have a better quality audio. I hope it works for you. Good luck
