Hey guys thought you could give me a hand,

i have a avic z3 and it works awsome! best thing i ever bought for my truck, just wondering why the day/night mode isnt working.

i have the decks orange and white stripe lead hooked up to the ornage lead in the truck and still nothing.

truck is a 2004 chev tahoe z71.

anywhere else i can tap this wire into so the dimmer will work? way to bright at night!!!

Im Not Sure but the wire you looking for is at the headlight switch where the dimmer is on the left of the steering wheel...ask Around but its the brown/white wire its one of the first wires...

On this truck, either use a module or run a wire to brown at one of the parking lights.

I tapped into the AC/Heating controls above as the unit switches to day and night settings when using the headlights. Just trace down the power source and tap in.
