Well I bought a used D3 a couple weeks ago. I installed it today and many things don't work. When I started it up it said wrong navi disc, so I went to put another disc in, and it eject a navi disc! It will not eject CD's on it's own or read them. I can't get the radio to work it just says system error I believe? No sound or anything. I am about to go try and see if it will play my Ipod.

I have installed quite a few radios, and am extremely sure it is not my error.

My question is, is this maybe a small problem or is the radio ready for the garbage? I've contacted the seller and i'm frickening pissed as I spent a couple hours installing it, and now i'm going to have to undo it all so i've got a stereo until I get this sorted out :evil:

Second used radio, first one worked flawless but don't think i'm gonna buy used again.........

Help please!

Well a picture says a thousand works. The volume knob does not work either. No sound whatsoever. I did get it to reconzice my Iphone once but again no sound. I double checked all my wiring, everything is fine. But everytime I try to go into Ipod now, I get "hit menu button" and it goes back to the same screen.

Well I did some searching and it appears that my error means "dead dvd unit"? My next question is because i'm sure this unit is toast, do you think these problems could of happened during shipping? The box and unit looked perfect when I got them, and it was packaged pretty well. I think there was a reason he left one navi disc in the unit, because it is broken

Well the seller is willing to pay whatever it takes to fix the unit. Still hoping the shipper will cover it as he swears up and down it worked perfect before shipping. I think it is still the truth, if he is willing to pay for it. Anyone know the best way to get a new DVD drive? I know there is a place on ebay, but i'm in Canada and shipping wouldn't be cheap. And risking a lot getting it shipped two more times.
