Well I took a chance and bought a used F700BT off of Amazon. Wired it up today to test it out and the last owner left a CD in it. The CD plays just fine but it won't eject. When I press eject it sounds like it is trying to eject the disk but it never comes out. Anyone else have this problem? Is there a manual eject button like on a computer CD drive (I can't find one by looking)?

The unit is firmware 2.006. It's not really a deal breaker for me since everything else works just fine and I almost never listen to CDs but I'd like to be able to use it occasionally.

sounds like there is a internal problem with the disc player, if it sounds like its trying to eject and nothing comes out either the disc is jammed (like there is a burned cd with a label) or that somthing is just not catching (maybe there is a lever or something is disconnected) either way it probably a major issue, you could try a hard reset, but i doubt that it will do anything

I'm afraid you are right. I was just hoping there might be something I was overlooking. Pioneer wants $200 just to look at the unit and I don't listen to enough CDs for that so I guess I'll live without.

Physically open it up, and take a look. You might get lucky.
