Hi Everyone.

 

This post is for the pople that have installed Tomola's image disk for upgrading their 900bt or 700bt units to 3.0003.

 

So far so good. I did everithing that i was supposed to and got the unit working with the new firmware. The next logical step is updating the maps for Europe.

 

For this i got the map files form this torrent.

I've read that these maps only will work with Igo8.3 and not with Igo8. And here is where I get lost.

 

First I have no idea what versión of Igo comes with Tomola´s files, so i downloaded Igo8.3 form here:

I gussed the replacing the Igo folder on Tomola's files with this one will do the trick (adding of course the hacked EZerider and Global Licence).

 

But the trouble comes with the names of the folder. In Tomola's Falsh the folder is called just "Igo" and so is the .exe file that launches the aplication inside it while in the file that I downloaded the folder is called "Igo8" and so is the .exe file.

 

So I'm guessing that Tomola's Falsh "igo" aplication is and old one and i have no idea waht to do next. I suspect that just replacing the Igo folder with the Igo8 folder just won't work.

 

Anyone else with this problem? Renaming the new Igo8 folder and .exe file to just igo could do the trick?
