Orderd ad D2 with camera from Mytaxfree.com over a week ago. They have not shipped yet. Telling me they are having problems getting D2's Sounds like BS to me. What do you think?

AVICD2'S are no longer in production, and out of stock in most territories. AVICD3 is the replacement and import will be early 07.

There not BSing you, they can't get one to fill your order.

I just got one from sonicelectronix.com last week. Very fast shipping. A little more expensive than mytaxfree, but probably a little more reliable.

Definitly not reliable. Customer service is non-existant @ mytaxfree.com to savd $5.00 getting a big run around.

Same problem here!! I bought the Avic-D2 from Mytaxfree.com on 11/15/06 and it still hasnt shipped. I call everyday and get told the same thing...oh it will ship tomorrow...then i called today and they said pioneer recalled a batch that was sent to mytaxfree.com so I have to wait until friday for shipment. I would not buy from them again! I should have of bought from sonnic electronix like I did the last time...haha trying to save a few bucks doesn't help sometimes

I can get them thru my radio shop Tax fee.

As of right now they have 22 in stock depending on city you live in you can have it in a matter of days.

just ordered mine from costco.com for a little over $1000 after taxes and non membership fees, took 5 days.

Crutchfield is running a special for the D2. $1200 shipped + $200 gift card + rear camera (which I just sold on eBay for $150).

I can get the d2 for about 767$ plus shipping. I buy from a distributor now . I use to buy from sbhcorp.com and they were reliable, but they are out of stock right now.

My Tax free deliverd however they were late. Advertized 3 days and was 2 weeks!

Tillithz, have you ordered from sbhcorp.com before? And, do they still carry the pioneer warranty if you buy from them?

yes I have and yes they do, they are out of stock though on the d2 and the z1. I have purchased dozens of units from them
