Just finished this project. What do you guys think. I fiberglassed the F500BT unit into the overhead console since I already have an In-dash Touchscreen and I also drilled a hole for easy access to the USB input (pic3)...

The finish is awesome, really looks original.

I wouldn't however use a nav system so high as its totally out of my road vision field. I think the highest point should be below the mirror, but thats of course not practical for such a large-screen device.

It is great if the kids in the back don't have their own displays...

and i keep my eyes on the road and listen for the directions so it wouldnt matter how high or low its mounted
