I am currently using a 2009 Teleatlas map in the UK. As with previous versions of TeleAtlas, the speed limit information is dreadful.

Do other UK users have the same problem?

Has anyone sourced freebie Navteq maps and are they any better?

Teleatlas maps are much better than Navteq in UK, I briefly installed Navteq and found the speed info missing completely in some areas and some residential street info was inaccurate so went back to Teleatlas.

I have just downloaded a more recent TeleAtlas UK map - UnitedKingdom8.0TA_2009.06_090803.fbl

My previous UK map was - UnitedKingdom7PPC8.0TA_2009.02.1_090511.fbl

Does anyone know what that 7PPC refers to in the name of the previous file.

Does anyone know whether there is a UK version of the TeleAtlas 8.0 map, with 7 digit post code support, since February 2009?

Thanks for the quick response. I have looked at each of the sites referred to and none appear to have a map with full post code dated later than Feb 2009. If any one spots a later one a posting would be much appreciated.
