I have two D3's and was wondering if it is possible Pioneer will ever be able to upgrade the D3 so it announces names of streets to turn onto or lane guidence. Does anyone know it's limitations?

I wouldn't expect any firmware updates for the D3. Pioneer will continue to sell map upgrades, but all R&D efforts are focused on current and future models.
