So i just bought the 3.0 update from pioneer and I wanted to know if there was a way to install it in both my cars instead of buying another. I know there are a few threads on 3.0 but cant find the answer.

That's because you can't they lock the update down with activation. Only way is to pull an image of the x series or maybe someone posted an image of their f series with 3.0 on it. That's the only way to avoi paying for 2.
