I am having a Z110BT installed in my truck and was thinking about doing the video bypass. My question is are there any drawbacks to doing so. I.E. will it make the unit act wonky? Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

No drawbacks at all, other then the fact you can kill someone or yourself if you are watching video or playing with the navi while driving.

I did the bypass on my Z3 awhile back but I will still pull over to input an address if I'm the only one in my truck (I don't like using the voice control too much since it's not very good).

If you do the bypass, at least be responsible about it.
