I'm just in the process of testing my new 900bt.

 

Used to use a portable Garmin Nuvi that worked really well.

 

The first thing i find is that the direction voice commands seem to be very confusing when not totally wrong.

 

Here is Europe we don't have almost straight streets in our cities like in the US, that's the first thing you need to know.

 

When i'm driving down a street and there's a curve (right/left) i usually get a TURN SLIGHTLY order form the voice command.

 

On the other hand, when i have to turn onto another street and the angle between the 2 is more than 90º I get a MANTAIN LANE (let or right) so I usually miss the turn.

 

I've updated to haked 3.0 firmaware and have installed a Mod form this site (IDT's) with Teleatlas maps (2009.06)

 

Does anyone know if this mod could be responsible or is it the firmware?

 

Could it be the maps. Should I switch to Navteq maps and try?

 

Don't really know how the direction voice commands work so if you can clarify for me this matter I will be for ever gratefull
