wouldnt that mean that on my head unit in my truck i would be getting the same error?

But in my truck i dont get that error, thats weird. I solved that problem. They were named daycar.bmp.bak and nightcar.bmp.bak so i fixed that and after running the emulator again it says its experiencing a problem and needs to close. Here is what i did. I followed the forum 3.xx emulator and then i changed out all the maps and pois to USA maps. Is there anything else that i need to do?

Does it give you some kind of map error? I think you need the updated ezrider.exe and license file. Check on page 21 of my thread for detailed directions.

Just do the map for the state you are in for the emulator. Even for my AVIC I just did mine and my immediate states. That is a lot easier on the west coast though. In the emulator you only need one state for it to load.
