I'm a newbie on this forum and I've been doing very extensive research on it for the past two days now, so please don't get crazy when you see that this problem has probably been answered somewhere on the forum.

I have the F90BT and I just installed it and did only the hardware bypass. However, once I reach around 10-15mph, a screen pops up saying my ground wire is connect improperly and then the DVD picture closes out and I can not use the address function on the navi.

My question is why is this happening, and do I also need to do the software update to reconfigure the mph setting? Very frustrated, please help!

Like the other hundred people who have posted this problem (do a search next time), the pin that you moved from the mute position to the bypass position was damaged and it is not making contact, or you didn't push it all the way in and it is not making contact.

fix the bad connection..and read the bypass threads with pictures..
