Is it possible to do a Hack for the maps for the new 2009 one? I want to buy the F500BT on dash unit cause a cop pulled me over for a cell phone ticket, he let me off with a warning so I want to get a unit with the tel feature as this one. Since theres a map update i dont know if it is worth getting the unit for 200 and the maps for another 100. Id rather just get the new tom tom Go 940 which has everything the pioneer does for 340. So is there a hack to load the newest maps? Is it still worth getting it this late?

first off there's a hack thread that you could check regarding hack topics, regarding your question there's a hack to update the unit to the new version and add newer maps
