On my buddies Avic F90BT the sound is cutting out, and is related to all sources of audio, Radio, cd. The unit has been installed and worked flawlessly. Any suggestions on what could be the culprit? Thanks!

a short on any of the speakers could cause the sound to cut out, a loose connection could also.

 

if the car has a factory amp, that opens a whole new can of worms.
