I am trying to create a button that will change the vehicle type, with the following code

This works but the button image doesn't change as intended. I guess it is because the visiblemodel= bit is incorrect.

Can anybody help me put it rfght?

It's generally not a good idea to give the same name to different objects.

Having said that, try something like

visiblemodel="ui.vSpeedcamSoundType=3"

It works in Stanislavovich's skin (for something else).

visiblemodel="ui.vSpeedcamSoundType=3"

I note the reccomended code includes reference to cam sounds but I am trying to reference vehicle type i.e. car, lorry, emergency vehicle etc. On that basis is the code appropriate?

It was just a sample code on how to include a comparison into a visiblemodel. You would use whatever condition you need for your buttons.
