I updated to a new map version to try it out and I am not getting any POI's to come up in the manage screen like I had before. I had put in just one (California) 2009.06 TA map to try it out and I also put the corresponding POI file as well.

The map worked fine but I was not able to get any POI's to come up when I looked for them. Before I went into the Manage screen and I got the choices, POI's around cursor, around current position, etc.

Do I need to put in a different hacked EZrider, license file or something?

This is in my F90BT with 3.01 update.

i noticed this too on the new canada poi file, i just reverted to the one included from x910 flash

I just changed back and all is well too!

I'll screw with it later but the consensus I've been gathering here is that the TA maps are no better than the NavTeq ones.
