I've had the avic for about a month or so now. Had no problems after install, was working great. I actually able to do the 3.0 update listed on this site with no problems. card would read fine. After the update, i didnt use an SD card for anything, so the other day i go to pop it in to get into testmode, but it would not. I then turned the unit on, placed the card in and still would not recognize that it was in there. The card itself was not locked. I tried to reformat it in both fat and fat32, but nothing works.

I'm still new to this unit, but i wouldnt imagine there is much to it as far as reading the card. is there something i might be missing, or something that could have caused it to do this after the update?

any info would be great.

yep, i tried two different cards. a new one i bought, and the original one i used for the update

well...kind of odd, but i ended up formatting the card into fat32 again...added one song on there, iit started working.

so everything is good now
