I just purchased the update (CNSD-100FM) for my F90BT. SD #1 updated and installed without a hitch. SD#2 is another matter.

SD#2 fails at 2% giving a retry error. Trying twice more brings up a screen saying to contact Pioneer...which I did.

Pioneer says to box up the unit and the upgrade SDs (with both proofs of purchase) and return to Long Beach for repair. Supposedly the Flash Ram is corrupted.

I suspect that that answer is BS. However, at this point the unit is unusable. Powering off then back on, without the SD in the slot, the unit requests that the SD be reinserted...there appears to be no way around it.

So at this point it appears that my F90BT is bricked...unless one of you fine folks would have a much appreciated fix.

Else I'll be in the yard this afternoon jerking the unit out and FEDEXing it to Pioneer.

I didn't see the 3.0 Failure thread before I posted this. I followed the directions and my F90BT is back in the land of the living. MSN Direct says that the firmware upgrade failed...however I don't use it.
