So I moved the Z from one car to another, didn't have time to install the XM tuner during the first install so I went back today and finished.

The Z see's the tuner, shows what song is playing etc etc but no sound. Can change stations, manually tune one in pic comes up shows artist but no sound.

WTH????

Check your data AND IP-Bus cables are connected properly. Out on XM goes to IN on HU.

There is only one place to plug it in on the HU no?

Checking the tuner is easy but the HU not so much.

If it was plugged in incorrectly how would I get the tuner to funcion?

The bus cable to 2 way for signalling, but one way for audio. Just check it, and I bet its in the wrong port...

Yup sure enough I had it plugged in the wrong dang port

Oh well, working now.
