I just installed a avic z1 in a toyota FJ cruiser and Im very happy with it.

With voice commands you always have to hit the voice activation key after every command

example "call home" then the unit says "call home please press the voice command key"

is there a way to make it just call home or to confirm using your voice?

Just remember, they did a very bad job on the bluetooth part of this, so it really isn't totally 'hands free'. They should have called it, 'not so totally hands free'.
