I've read all the posts including the Iphone suggestions and have determined this unit is just not worth the hassle.

No matter what I do, voice recognition for either my iphone (with 3.1) or Blackberry 8330 does not work.

 

Been back to the dealer (Audio Planet in Huntington NY) now 4 times and told them I wanted the unit replaced. They come back and basically tell me they will not swap out unit for another and that I have to come back TWICE more - one to remove the head unit so they can send to Pioneer for repair (they will put back my old Bose unit) and for a SIXTH time to reinstall in about 3 weeks. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!

 

If anyone has any other thoughts on how to get the VR to work with any IPOD (Ive tried iphone 3G, 4th Gen Nano, and IPOD Classic) I would very much appreciate it.
