I live in a small relatively safe town, but I travel to a major metro several times a year.... I would like something to place over the Z to deter theives when we park downtown. Anyone have recommendations?

Thanks for the links! Just bid on one from Ebay...... I tried tried to find this on a forum (and ebay) search, and obviously I was using the wrong search terms.

I've had my car in North Philly with the headunit in plain sight now for several months and I've had no problems.

In fact, a couple months ago, my car got broken into and they didn't even TOUCH the headunit.. they dug through the glovebox to find a GPS unit.... even though there was a very very nice one sitting in plain sight of them LOL.

And then they got caught.

And then I found $5.

Glad to hear the sorry bastards got caught. Anytime scum like this gets caught, trips and breaks their leg, gets shot, its a good day. However, it is clear these idiots were mere amateurs. I wouldn't count on the next time having such a happy ending for you.
