Very simple and straight forward question. Right now I have an F700bt. I love the unit but my problem is that when I have the ipod connected to my AVIC, it does not charge the phone. The X910 is supposed to have the new apple chipset that is supposed to correct this. I just want to know if it does before I shell out the cash for this, only for this reason, as I need my phone to charge while I am listening to music. Thanks

I have the 3G iphone and the x910bt charges my phone no problem. My roomate has the 3GS I can have him plug it in sometime tonight, though I'm pretty sure it will work.

Yeas, thank you, that would be great!! I believe that the 3G and 3GS have different charging voltages (I could be wrong, as that is just what I heard second hand). If it does charge the 3GS, I will place an order :)

Yes it does charge the 3gs. I just plugged the roommates phone into it and the battery icon had the little charge symbol on it.
