I have purchased the 3.0 update from Pioneer. Is the any way to use it with more than 1 unit. I have a customer who has a fleet of vehicles that I installed (5) 700bt's and (2) 900bt's. It seems a little ridiculous to have to buy and update for each vehicle. I'm hoping it is as simple as modifying or removing a file on the 2nd SD card. Thanks, Tim
Use 3.0 on more than 1 unit?
I have also purchased the update and to my knowledge, the answer is 'no', it is only good for one system as the update has a registered device I.D (your unit only) with a password for only your unit. You can put the hacked version in which is identical, you just wont be able to update it with legit updates.
Ok, so here is the weird thing about this situation. I originally bought the update to use on my personal avic-7010bt, and I have updated 3 of them with no issue. The first one, of coarse, I had to register to get the password. The other two didn't have any prompts for the device # they just started updateing. There has to be a way around this. These guys are hacking to change so many features, this should be simple. If need be, I can upload the update to let someone hack it.

Then it would be the SAME as the one that is already posted in this forum. just download that, install it, and you are all set.
