When I try to advance the volume, the lady comes on and says "the volume will be set at this level" What happened. It worked fine before I reset the D2.

that is because your in the mode to set the voice volume. press the "nav" button on the remote i believe. I think it doubles as the mode button.. its printed on the remote.
