sometimes when i start up my navi right away when i drive the car, it will not move until like 5 min later. my speed pulse is not going up and down with the bars under connection status. wierd thing sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. if i bang the center console on the side the speed pulse will come back on.

Obviously a bad connection then.... Check the wiring for the speedpulse..

do you think maybe its because of the cold? it seemed like it is happening more because of the cold. Thats means i have to remove whole center console and check that pink wire!! how come if i bang the side it sometimes just comes back on speed pulse

When you bang on the console it might be moving the wire a tiny bit (just enough) to restore the connection. Not sure why the cold has any effect on it but I agree with jwq's thoughts on the connection being bad/insufficient.
