This morning i wanted to add my new ipod control cable to the back of the double din so i took the dash off and unscrewed the bolts to the double din. As i was pulling the din out i herd and seen a little spark. I dont know where the spark came from but i know all my wires were covered properly. I then installed the ipod cable and turn the ignition to test everything out but the din would not turn on and neither was the scoche aftermarket harness with sound. Everything was all good before i tried to take it out and now i dont know whats wrong. I looked at the fuse behind the unit and it seems to be fine and all the power wires are matching and together. Only wire i seen out of place was the blue antenna wire and i dont know how that got loose. Is my double din toast or do i need to get a new scotche harness? i drive a 2000 chevy impala.
