I finally had my D2 installed on my 2000 Lexus GS400. My OEM sound system is a Pioneer but with the installation of navigation, my CD changer became useless. Last night, I found out from one of the Lexus forums that it is possible to make the OEM CD changer to work with D2 using IP BUS. Can our gurus in the forum help me on this? Thanks!

If memory serves me right, I think the changer in that car may still use the M-bus language. I'll check into that. By the way, did you know "gatchie" (not sure about the spelling) is Polish for underwear?

I read some place that the changer will need a little bit of back panel mod to accept IP Bus cable? Thanks for looking into this. Not sure about the Polish meaning of my handle, but I guess I have to check with my Polish friends.

you have to modify the interface on the back of the changer. there is a guy on clublexus that does this for a fee, not sure how much he charges.
