So I finally was able to order all the parts and pieces of the Z setup yesterday. Here's the gist of what I got comin'.

AVIC-Z110BT Head Unit - From dis_sound on ebay - $939.60 (after $100 Ebay coupon and $90.40 Bing cashback)

CD-IU50V Ipod Cable (the Pioneer one) - $38.63 (after $3.36 Bing Cashback)

ND-MDT10 MSN Direct unit - From ampdaudio on ebay - $80.96 (after $7.04 Bing Cashback)

XSVI-5520-NAV Wiring Harness - From audiopartsadapters on ebay - $59.80 (after $5.20 Bing cashback)

Dash Kit (METRA KIT 95-5812) - From 310-part-specialist on ebay - $14.00

MSN Direct Subscription - From Best Buy - $129.95

XM Subscription - $77 (with AVIC411 code... sweeeeeeeeeet).

That comes to a grand total of.... $1339.94 for and AVIC-Z110BT with XM, MSN Direct, Ipod, and install materials for under $1350. I think I did okay. I only purchased from ebay's new monicker of "Top Rated Seller" to assure the best possible experience from ebay sellers. Also the Head Unit comes with a 1 year replacement from either the ebay seller or Pioneer, which they maintain they can facilitate. They are also 100% feedback with over 6k sales and have been a member for around 3 years.I'll make sure I get the unit before I add one more to that, but I'm expecting a good experience based on everyone else's.

Oh and thanks again to VBlue42 for convincing me not to waste money on the XM Navtraffic unit and the HD radio unit. That's $200 I didn't have to spend! I've already got my GEX-P920XM unit from the old setup so that will just go right back in this one.

Thanks to everyone for the help in getting all the right stuff. I'll let you know how the install goes. Hopefully with that harness it should be a piece of cake.

PS - as you can see I saved over $100 in doing the Bing Cashback thing. If anyone needs a little help on how to take advantage of that, just let me know. It's an easy way to get 8-30% off items purchased on ebay or elsewhere online.

Awesome dude, I am glad to know that you will soon have all of your toys. And 77 bucks a year for XM to boot. Now we just need to get you that Mac and life becomes a dream again. :D

No doubt. I've got Mac on the brain ever since spending a good portion of the weekend in the Aspen Grove store. I GOTTA get me one!

I am curious, why did you forgo the HD Radio unit?

Actually after speaking with another member here, (let me know if you want your name mentioned) they said that many people have voiced unhappiness with it's interface and easy of use. Additionally, I realized that I was already going to have XM, SD card, Ipod, Flash Device, Fm Radio (which is pretty good in Denver Metro), and DVD... so with all that, did I need HD radio that I've heard people are unhappy with? Nope.

I hear you

I think I am going to swap out my Sirius for the XM as well. Sounds like the interface is much better

If you guys are curious about the XM interface, I do cover that in my AV demo vid. Its in the first topic on this board.
