so i just purchased the f500bt and it had the 1.xxx sotware so i went to the pioneer site and downloaded the 2.06 software and i tried to installed..... everything went fine with the install and the unit reset itself, the instructions said to turn the unit off and unplug the battery and turn it back on, but when i tried to turn it back on it wont. this thing wont do anything and the only sing of life is the blue led (bluetooth) comes on for about 5 sec. and it turns off...is there a way to fix it or am i SOL ? please help me i just purchased this thing i haven't had the thing for a day and now it doesnt work

OMFG!!!!11one i found the solution, after searching all over the interwebs, i find out that the look on the battery door has to be closed or else the unit wont turn on. i can't believe it was that easy, well i hope my experience helps somebody else down the road
