I have a 06 F250 with a D1 installed .I have the dimmer wire connected but it does not do anything, I have to use the auto dimmer funtion. How do I fix this?

First, make sure that the wire you tapped into is, in fact, getting +12v when you turn on the parking lights. Second, make sure the D1 dimming fuction is set to auto, not daytime. Go to the connections screen and make sure the D1 is getting the proper signal.
