Hi guys,

 

I'm kinda new all this bypass stuff but i followed the instructions i found in the forum but when i went to move the mute wire i damaged the metal insert piece on the end of the wire. is there anyway i can fix this or maybe another way to bypass with out using the mute wire?

JDM, you could do a search for the software mod thread and perform the bypass that way. Personally, I would just splice into the wire that you would have connected to by moving the wire in the plug.

 

To clarify, take the wire with the damaged metal insert and splice it directly into the wire opposite to where the metal piece would have gone. Hope that's clear.
