Ok so i have this avic that my friend sold me the only issue with it is that it is missing a hdd. so i bought one via ebay and i verified its contents and it seems to have all the neccesary files. The only issue is that the dread" CAnnot use hdd" screen appears. have thoroughly looked at my avic and noticed that it says may, and on some forum on avic411.com here... i heard that those avics were old and could not get the update, so now what can i do? is there anyone who had the z1image i can get off of a torrent, or is there a possible way in which i can get my z1 to recognize a z3 hdd? HELP PLZ )=

It sounds like you may have accidently done something when you were 'verifying the contents' of the drive. You can DL and upgrade to the latest Z3 image and it should work fine. "Cannot use hdd" is typically a software problem after someone connects the drive to a PC...
