i would like to know if there is anyway i can update the software in my n4. I want to do this to get the avic n4 to start charging my iphone. also it would be nice to put a songs tab in the ipod menu. i can't get a new pioneer unit because my car is only a single din. so im stuck with the n4 until they come out with an n6 or something like that

even if you update the n4 it still wont charge your iphone,what you need is an adaptor that connects to your pioneer ipod cable you can look for then on ebay they cost around $17-30 depending how good you look if not scosche makes an addaptor for that.it sends 5v instead 0f 12v.
