There is a definite difference in price between the p920xm and the p10xmt.

If i do not care about the nav-traffic feature, will the lesser unit give me the enhanced display for my d1. If the info updates and interface is the same, it makes little sence to buy the more expensive unit.

Thanks for any info

I believe the GUI is the same between the 2, but the nav traffic feature is pretty friggin' cool, especially the stock info and sports scores. It will also alert you when one of your favorite songs is playing on any XM station, even if you are listening to a cd......

It's worth it. But, if you get the P10XMT, but do not subscribe to NavTraffic, leave the smaller data cable unplugged at one or both ends(doesn't matter), or you will get an"XM updating" message that will piss you right off. You can plug it in later, it's no problem.

That was fixed on the D2 software and version 1.2 of the D1 software

Ya, but I still get customers with the older units wanting to add on, guess there's till a bunch out there. Plus, I have a few friends with the Freightliner SportChassis trucks, many of those came with the D1 and the GEX-P10XMT tuner, but they didn't seem to notice the message popping up rather frequently before they deliver the truck to their customer, so I get to fix it.....
