Just joined and have some questions:

I receintly purchased a vehicle(used) with the Pioneer AVIC N-3 according to the owners manual. #'s that I have are AVH-PS-700 DVD/lic---FCMDO 71044UC Ver l.0

 

My question and concerns is, how far out of date is this unit and can I add firmware(reasonable cost) and update to the latest version fairly easy, and where do I get the material. I have a disc that is CNDV 60mt (east). I have not done too much using the Nav part of this yet., I know that you can put in some business phone #'s and some addresses, Are there anyway that you can set it up to use Long/Latitude? Any and all information welcome and appreciated... Marvin

I was wondering about those ebay disc, maybe I will give it a try. I was also wondering if there was anyway to Nav by the latitude/longitude? don't know if you know that, but thanks if you do...mytime
