I have an AVIC-Z2 in a 2008 F650.
Today after starting the truck a constant faint boom from the stereo started pounding about every second or so. It does not stop when I turn the unit off. There is a Kicker Z something amp and a pair of 10" woofer. Before the Boom there is a faint sort of zzzzzzz up to the boom for a fraction of a second.
If I change the volume setting of the sound the boom does not sound any different and the woofer do not seem to convey any other sound (they do not play the music).
The Kicker amp has a green lights on it and when I opened it up as much as I can I saw another green light on the inside that turns red fractionally just before the faint boom every time it does it.
Any suggestions?
