I currently have an AVIC Z3 and want to upgrade to a Z110BT. I understand the connectors are different between the two so I can't just plug in the current connector. Since I want to do the install myself, I'm wondering if the wires are the same color so it will be easy to do the install. Do I just have to splice the wires together? Thanks for the help.

Yes the wires are the same color. Get the proper harness for your vehicle and everything will be color coded.
