Anyone else have this issue, or is this normal? Anytime i hook up the iPod, it says V/R is downloading for atleast 2-3 minutes. Then it says its complete but if I turn the AVIC off & turn it back on.. it appears again & does the thing all over again.

Am I missing something here?

Turn it off. You only need it if you have added or removed content from the iPod.
