I just installed my Z1 in a 04 Silverado 2500HD Diesel and was just wondering how long this thing takes to fully calibrate itself. It is in 3D Hybrid now and has been for some time. I have almost 700 miles on it. Is this normal? I know my speed pulse is hooked up correctly. After it is calibrated are more options available in the vehicle dynamics?

I have one other issue with the XM radio cutting in and out actually going to static when ever i pass by large trees or building my factory XM radio on the roof would do this however very rarely it seems that everytime i go by anything it does it now. My Attena is mounted in the vent on the by the auto headlight sensor and almost always says strong signal. Is there anyway to tap into the roof atenna and use that instead will i see a noticable difference?

Any thoughts suggestions or comments would be great apprecated.

My car it took a little over 1000 miles to fully calibrate. More than likely all of the vehicle dynamics are already availible to you.

You could use the factory xm antenna. If you open the glovebox and take it out, you'll see the factory xm tuner to the right. The orange square looking plug is the factory antenna plug. You'll have to remove the plastic cover on the antenna plug. After that you can plug it into the pioneer tuner.

Any thoughts suggestions or comments would be great apprecated.
