Hey everyone.

I need some help BAD!!

We bought my son a F700 and installed it today.

I have the Apple Ipod cable, AV1 set to Ipod and nothing..........Also just updated to ver 2.06

We've tried two ipods. 1 st one Nano 8GB ver 1.1.3 2nd Touch 16GB ver 3.1

What do we need to do? I'm gonna be introuble if we can't fix it!

Apple ipod cable with only USB? that won't work, you need USB and RCA

It's in the manual and install sheets, they're worth reading before you go crazy trying to figure out what you missed.

Sorry....That's the cable we have. Usband RCA's. I was wondering if the 3.0 update would make any difference.

What exactly is it not doing when you try to use the ipod?

I have the Apple version of the Pioneer cable. USB connection and RCA's. When plugged in the Ipods will charge, but nothing else. 1 time the touch said "Device not supported", but nothing else.

Is my problem with the Ipods software?

Here's the Pioneer ipod compatibility chart, see if your's is compatible. You may need to up-date your ipod firmware. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/ephox ... 0Chart.pdf

Just an update. I purchased a new Pioneer cable from Crutchfield and BAM! I don't know if I had a bad Apple cable or just not compatible, but the Pioneer cable works and for now, I'm out of the doghouse.
