Hello,

I purchased and had a new AVIC installed this week, after I left the install shop I noticed the screen had a hair line crack in it so I went back to the install shop. The crack happened during the install and They are going to replace the unit next week but my question is this: Is the screen a week point on the system? Has this been a problem for anyone else.. I am almost afraid to touch the screen with fear of having a crack happen again.

The screen seems strong to me. They must've dropped the unit or something.

Not that I have ever heard of. I have had mine in the north east (some good temperature swings in that time) since late March and used it quite a bit. No cracks and never heard of anyone else reporting of any either.

yeah my screen seems fine too, i think that hair line crack came from the installer's tool, i bet.....
