so i am trying to hook up my ipod to my head unit...

i have gone through 4 different cords and none of which seems to work..

and the only one that does of course is the fm transmitter which is crap.

the actual ipod charger connects to the usb that is hard wired to the unit, and everything comes up on the screen but there is no sound, and my av setting is set to ipod..

the last cord i got today is the av output/input, idk the difference...and it blew a fuse..

i have been to best buy 5 times this past week, and im about to pulll out my hair!

anyone who can help please asap, i need it fixed by sunday for i am going on a roadtrip..

thank you sooooooooooo muchh!!

Do you have the Pioneer iPod cable?

no. . i bought a fifty dollar cable from best buy..called peripheral

everything is hooked up correctly, the ipod charges, but nothing will come up on the screen.

do i really have to get a pioneer/ipod compatible cable?

Yes, either that or the Apple Composite AV cable.

You have to buy the CD-IU230V Cable .

The USB is not clearing the audio it has to be done with the RCA connectors at the back of the f700BT

After that you have to go to settings,AV settings,AV1 Switch to Ipod

Than you can select av1 to hear the audio in AV source
