Hello, I want to know if there is an application to check the tags or integrity of a file on which you work? Currently I do a lot of change in a file navigatemap_800_480.ui. After many changes, my data.zip not work, the PC emulator tells me :

Parse error [ layer> expected]

I managed to find that the problem was my navigatemap_800_480.ui, but I look and look beautiful, I can not find where is my mistake? !

Try examdiff pro.

That is the program I use for editing.

dude that would be nice. I have had to be become a meticulous coder because I do it by hand. Such a PITA to back things out when you get that error. I use notepad ++ which is free but doesn't have editing correction.

Hi,

The trick I used for years to find an real untraceable error: print a listing of the program, find a second person, a listener, she or he must even as to have no knowledge or idea of what you are doing and explain the statements you changed to her/him. Even if listener do not understand anything of what you are telling, they only have to say from time to time "yes...yes". I bet you find and see your error. It worked for me, every time.

To make my changes, I use the Windows Vista note pad. I work on 2 versions of data.zip.

The first only for the PC emulator, which contains the history of changes in my files.

The second amended data.zip is that once I tested my changes with the first data.zip PC.

For safety I always test the second data.zip PC before placing it in my F910. And this time I have this error. Yet I did several searches to find my mistake, nothing FIND ONE yet.

Thanks for your answers I will try everything.

Excuse me for my language, I am not fluent in your language

the error could be as missing character(maybe a > or a = ) best way to do it is to use examdiff pro or beyond compare to check two files,
